Consul General Jang Seong-gil of the Korean Consulate in Seattle Visits TecAce, Learns About Its AI Transformation Business

TecAce demos a voice AI agent for consular service inquiries; the Consulate General will review a possible pilot in Seattle

Consul General Jang Seong-gil of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle visited TecAce's office in Bellevue, Washington, on October 14.

Consul General Jang Seong-gil and Consul Koo Kwang-il of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle visited TecAce's office in Bellevue, Washington, on October 14 for a briefing on the company and its AI transformation (AX) business.

Founded in 2000, TecAce has developed software for global enterprises from its bases in Bellevue and Seoul, and is expanding its AI transformation business on the strength of its experience in mobile and cloud. During the visit, the company introduced its Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) model, in which engineers work on-site with clients to analyze workflows and then build and operate automation systems. The core idea is that the work does not end at diagnosis: TecAce stays on-site with the client through build, deployment and operation.

Consul General Jang showed interest in the direction and competitiveness of the AI business and followed up with a Q&A session. TecAce also presented its AI training and adoption support programs for Korean American businesses and small business owners.

TecAce also demonstrated a voice AI agent that could be used to guide consular service inquiries. The agent provides basic information on passports, visas, nationality and military service by voice, and connects inquiries that need verification to a consultation with a staff member. The Consulate General plans to review the possibility of a pilot in Seattle; whether and when it will be adopted has not been decided.

TecAce plans to share the demo as a follow-up and to discuss details if a pilot moves forward.
